every morning i pass the building of the dutch embassy. the front is covered by a huge poster showing in a very impressive way the work of ari versluis and ellie uyttenbroek, who got inspired by a shared interest in the striking dress codes of various social groups. they systematically documented numerous identities since 1994.
their series is called exactitudes: a contraction of exact and attitude. i wanted to post about this forever. every time i pass this place it makes me smile and reminds me how individual we really are.
