It’s Christmas market season in Berlin and I want to share with you my top 3 for the weekend:
#1 Don’t miss the most romantic x-mas market at the “Jagdschloss Grunewald”.
It’s very cute, hosted the 8-9.12 from 11:00-19:00 and it’s veeeery popular. You’ll better get there early.
#2 Can’t wait to see the historic “Alt-Rixdorfer Christmas market”.
Open from 7.12 – 9.12. Enjoy the cozy village atmosphere in the area of Richardplatz – in the middle of Neukölln .
#3 Escape the city and discover the farmers x-mas market at “Lehmanns Farm”.
Open from 7.12 – 9.12 in Marienfelde. Small and very beautiful!
Le Miroir is my favorite place to wine & dine¹ when I’m in Montmartre. It’s the kind of neighborhood bistro you wish to find when you are hungry in Paris. Perfect for a yummy lunch² or a cozy dinner. Just make sure you reserve a table.
¹ the “cafe gourmand” takes you to the moon and back!
² if you have spend all your money and you want to enjoy French cuisine, go there for lunch!
The lunch menu is absolutely affordable and the food is amazing.

I love May! The best time of the year. The best time to take a break, to go on a long weekend trip and to celebrate birthday. I’m so in the mood for a great escape. Château de la Resle is my all time favorite when it comes to spending a relaxed weekend in the French countryside. Have a great week and a fabulous May!
It’s finally summer in the city and I am so ready for having fun in the sun. This year one of my favorite coffee-garden is the one in “Clärchens Ballhaus”. They recently opened an extra garden plus a cozy hidden terrace in the backyard. It’s one of the most adorable hideaways, that Berlin Mitte has to offer.
It’s also really nice in the evening. Wine, dine and dance away …
My passion for concept stores took me all the way to the less touristic part of Montmartre in Paris.
The urban gardening store Les Mauvaises Graines is a really cool and original place, run by two very sympathetic guys, who turned out to be the neighbors and lunch-mates of the Atypyk boys. What a nice surprise! We had agood lunch all together and I’ve been so happy about the new discovery.

It’s Thursday and I have spend all week on my couch with a cooling pad on my face. My wisdom tooth had to go and what remains is a huge appetite. I came along this great little film about Tartine Bakery on Chantelle Grady’s blog and I’m sooo much in the mood to bake my own bread, open my first bakery and hang out on the beach with some cute surfers…OK. enough! It’s time for a new cooling pad and some smoothie.
