After Spring comes Summer. Oh nooo, not in Berlin! Winter is celebrating a huge come-back right now. It has been snowing like crazy and it turned so cold again. I didn’t believe my eyes when I have spotted this funky trompe-l’œil facade. It made me smile and instantly I felt a little bit warmer and in the mood for a cocktail.

It’s Almost Weekend and I’m having a schedule like Santa. Today I’m starting my first tour as personal shopping guide in Berlin. I’ll support people with their Christmas Shopping, show them amazing little shops and help them to find the perfect presents.
This year I have been very ambitious and I’ve tried to do the perfect presents all by myself. Wasn’t 2012 is so DIY!? Pfff… in my dreams maybe. Reality is so much harder. I’ve turned 5 years older within 2 weeks, but I’m ready and done with the gift challenge. Hope it was worth it. Merry x-mas!

For a while now, I’ve been wishing for much more time to work on personal projects. One of them was a guide about my city: Berlin.
In the beginning of this year, I finally made the step towards more independence and freedom. I quit my job and started cruising the city with my camera. I’m so happy and proud to launch today NotQuiteBerlin.
It’s a personal city guide where I share my favorite places, tips and ideas. You can find plenty of addresses where to get the best cakes and coffee, the coolest outfits and the most delicious dinner.
The rules of my guides are simple: the places have to have great service and a good atmosphere.
